Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By accessing the Aramaic Archive you agree to these terms. The archive is provided as a scholarly resource for study, teaching, and research.

Acceptable use

You may read, search, cite, and quote the texts for personal, academic, and educational purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that degrades service, or misrepresent its contents.

Scholarly content

The primary Aramaic texts are drawn from the public-domain textual tradition. Annotations, translations, transliterations, and commentary are the editorial work of the archive and its contributors. Reuse of that editorial material should follow the Citation Guidelines.

Contributions

If you submit research, recordings, or manuscripts, you confirm you have the right to share them and grant the archive permission to review, publish, and attribute them as appropriate. You retain ownership of your own work.

Accuracy & no warranty

We work to ensure scholarly accuracy, but the archive is provided “as is” without warranties. Readings, dates, and interpretations reflect ongoing scholarship and may be revised. Verify against primary sources for formal academic work.

External links

The archive links to academic sources and partner sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the archive grows. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
